İMÇ (İstanbul Manifaturacılar Çarşısı)’de faaliyet gösteren bağımsız sanat inisiyatifi 5533, 2021’in ilk yarısında projesini yürütmesi için anahtar teslim ettiği Can Küçük ve sanatçının davetiyle bir araya gelen Ardıl Yalınkılıç, Ayçesu Duran, Cem Örgen ile SÜPER NORMAL’in yeni üretimlerine ev sahipliği yapıyor. İMÇ'de dolaşımda olan malzemelere ve çarşının sosyal ve fiziksel yapısına dair izlerin okunabileceği projeler, süreç içinde şekil alan bir programla izleyiciye sunuluyor. Mart ayında gerçekleşen Giriş bölümünü takiben Birinci Bölüm, Ayçesu Duran ve Cem Örgen’in işlerinden oluşuyor. Cem Örgen’in Gökyüzünde Saklanamazsın isimli sergisi 5533’te yer alırken Ayçesu Duran’ın yerleştirmesi Rast mekânın dışında, 5. blokta konumlanıyor. Birinci Bölüm, 15 Nisan’dan 21 Mayıs’a dek, Pazartesi’den Cuma’ya 11:00-17:00 saatleri arasında görülebilir.

The independent art initiative 5533 has been operating since 2008 in the 5 th block of İMÇ (Istanbul Drapers Market) and is now playing the host for brand new productions, handing over the keys to Can Küçük to run his project with the invited artists Ardıl Yalınkılıç, Ayçesu Duran, Cem Örgen & SÜPER NORMAL. The projects, through which the traces of the materials in circulation in İMÇ and the social and physical structure of the bazaar can be read, are shared with the audience with a program that takes shape in the process. After the Entrée part held in March with no audience, the presentations now continue with Part One, consisting works by Ayçesu Duran and Cem Örgen. While Cem Örgen’s exhibition You Can’t Hide in the Sky takes place in 5533, Ayçesu Duran’s installation Rast positions outside, at the 5 th block. Part One is open to visit from April 15 to May 21, between 11:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.
